Empowering Youth and Families
To show up for themselves and one another — to feel, process, connect and grow.
Welcome
About me:
I’m Fran, a registered social worker (MSW, RSW #13307) with over 20 years of international experience supporting youth and families through growth, transitions, and challenges. As both a counsellor and a parent of teenagers, I bring a compassionate, practical approach that combines clinical training with real-life understanding. I offer individual and family counselling, drawing on evidence-based, trauma-integrated practices to help clients navigate life’s challenges. I believe we are all experts of our own lives and all possess strengths that we can harness to feel, process, connect and grow – even when courage is fleeting.
If you’d like to start with a free 15-minute consultation (no obligation to commit), please get in touch with me. The most important part of counselling is finding the right fit for you.

Youth
Counselling
There is no single way to work with young people. What matters most is meeting each youth where they are at with kindness, honesty and understanding. This is a non-judgmental space where youth can be themselves. Feelings and awkward moments are encouraged. It’s a place for youth to feel, process, connect and grow.
If sitting inside an office feels uncomfortable, we can walk or meet outside. However this will be at the discretion of the counsellor putting safety first.
Parent & Caregiver
Support
Being a parent is one of the hardest jobs in the world — and no one should have to do it alone. Parenting today comes with more challenges than ever before. I believe we’re all doing the best we can with what we know and the resources we have available to us.
As a parent myself, I know how easy it is to put ourselves last. The pressures and exhaustion can be overwhelming at times. This is a non-judgmental space where parents and caregivers can find support to feel, process, connect and grow.
Family
Sessions
Family sessions often begin with one or two people hoping to resolve a challenge or simply wanting to create a space for everyone to be heard. Others may be unsure or hesitant — and that’s okay.
To make sure everyone feels safe and supported and knows what to expect, each family member will be offered an individual session prior to a family session. Family work can be incredibly healing when we come together with openness and the willingness to feel, process, connect and grow — as as a family.
Consulting &
Collaboration
This service can support: schools, businesses and non for profit organizations in building knowledge, skills, and resources through one-time workshops or a number of sessions offered in the form of a therapeutic group. Each consulting plan is tailored to the goals of the client. Covering topics like Parenting Support, Youth Anxiety & Depression, Stress and Burnout, and Group Facilitation.
Investing in those that matter to you is what strengthens our community. Let’s feel, process, connect and grow—together.
